Worship and Tech
Worship is at the heart of Kings Church. Each Sunday we spend around 30mins in (mainly) musical worship with a band of varied musicians and singers of all ages, led by a group of worship leaders. The music is contemporary worship in style. Worship often includes people in the church praying and speaking from God's word.
We also recognise that sound and video are essential elements of our worship at the church, seeing the tech team as an equal and vital part of our worship. We are so grateful for the teams who serve in this!
The essence of our worship is to put Jesus absolutely central in our Sunday services and in our personal lives through the week. Once a month we get together to practice songs and for the monthly worship event called Encounter (last Sunday evening of each month).
We also meet with other Cumbrian churches in our Kings Church family for a joint worship event around three times each year.
